Porsche presents Super-Sports Car in Geneva: Porsche 918 Spyder Concept Car

Porsche presented the Porsche 918 Spyder concept car at its world debut this evening in Geneva. This mid-engined two-seater combines the performance of a super-sports car with the CO2 emissions of a small compact, an innovative plug-in hybrid concept reducing emissions to just 70 grams CO2 per kilometre and fuel consumption to 3.0 litres/100 kilometres (94 mpg imp).

Boxster Spyder Making World Debut in Los Angeles

Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is introducing a new top version of the Porsche Boxster, a light mid-engined roadster making its world debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in December. Weighing just 1,275 kg or 2,811 lb, the Boxster Spyder is the lightest model throughout the entire range of Porsche cars. Clearly recognisable right from the start, this new mid-engined roadster represents the true, purist form of the Porsche sports car – light, powerful, consistently open, and very efficient.

The 911 Sport Classic – Exclusive for 250 Fans of the 911

Porsche has refined the DNA of the 911 to what must be the most supreme standard of class and style in the 911 Sport Classic available to a strictly limited number of very special 911 enthusiasts. Creating this unique model, Porsche is bringing back the tradition of exclusive small series built in very small numbers. The 911 Sport Classic will be presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and is limited in production to just 250 cars.

Twenty-Inch 911 Turbo II Wheels for the Panamera

Porsche is enlarging the range of customisation options for the new Panamera with new wheels in particularly sporting design: The new 20-inch forged wheels come in the same design as the wheels on the new 911 Turbo, standing out through five striking, highly polished double spokes, titanium-coloured, painted spoke flanks and the rim centre star to give these light-alloy wheels a unique twin-tone look.
